The Biltmore House in Asheville,
North Carolina
These steps leading to the Conservatory were
in terrible state of disrepair and had to be replaced.
Here are the finished risers and treads. The
parts were cut from hot-rolled steel.
Using the waterjet, we were able to give the
steps a "frosted" look which duplicated the texture from the original
18th-century castings.
